To prepare for the upcoming semester, the Building BLOC students at Westminster High School held a Leadership Brunch at The Cheesecake Factory. This session allowed them to organize roles and divide responsibilities, while brainstorming new ideas
to expand the club.
During the last 80 days of 2019, Weston and Khiry completed a 48-state road trip to visit schools, districts, and local governments. Along the way they established great partnerships and discovered new student
demographics for Building BLOC to support.
While developing their career and academic needs, the students also commit to improving the local community. This Beach Clean-up event allowed students to bond with both their mentors and their peers, while cleaning and making a real impact.
